Real-time collaboration: work on the same scene at the same time
Invite your co-designer or operator to a project and work on the scene together. The co-designer moves the side-light booms while you fix the patch, and the operator checks the result against the desk, all in the same scene in their own browsers. The MVR stops travelling by email, and everyone works on the current version.
- INVITE TO THE PROJECT
- People join the project itself, not a single session, and can come back to it when you are offline. Invitees without a FlexViz account get one tied to your organisation.
- SAME SCENE, SAME MOMENT
- Changes appear for everyone as they are made. One person rigs, another patches, and both see each other's work without saving and reloading.
- ROLES PER PROJECT
- Decide per person who can edit and who can only look. Viewers do not take a collaboration seat, so a producer can follow the project without moving a truss by accident.
- COMMENTS ON EVERYTHING
- Comment on the scene, fixtures, truss and props. Mark each comment internal for the team or public for guests.
- LIVE DESK LEVELS
- With the Bridge connected, everyone in the project sees the console drive the rig.
- VERSIONS STILL APPLY
- Mark the state the team agreed on as a version, and go back to it if a later change does not work out.
Depends on
A current browser for everyone. People you invite don't need a FlexViz account: they get one tied to your organisation. Live levels need the Bridge running on one machine in the session.
Not yet
During the closed beta, collaboration seats per scene are limited; after the beta, the number depends on the plan. To show a scene to someone who should not edit it, such as a client, use a live presentation instead.
Open your own MVR against this and tell me where it breaks.
