Your profile in an organisation
Your account is the same everywhere. What your colleagues see of you is set per organisation, so you can be "Ada (LD)" in one team and something else in the next.
File › Profile… has two parts.
Account, at the top, is global: your name, the address you sign in with, your time zone and language. They are the same in every organisation.
Your profile in organisation is what colleagues in the organisation you are currently in see. Switch organisation and the page shows that organisation's profile.
Display name: how you appear to colleagues. Leave it empty to use your account name. The Members screen always shows the account name beside it, so a nickname never hides who somebody is.
Function: what you do on a show. It changes which view you get by default and grants nothing. Admins call the same field craft on the Members screen.
Phone and picture.
Presence colour: the colour of your pointer and your selection when you edit a scene together with colleagues, and the ring around your picture in their header. Everybody gets one on joining, chosen so colleagues differ; pick another here if two look too alike.
Closing your account
Delete account at the bottom of the profile, confirmed with your password (or, for an account without one, by typing its email address).
Projects in an organisation you share with other people are not yours to take with you. They stay with the organisation with all their scenes and history, including projects you created. Revisions you made stay too; your name comes off them.
If you are the only owner of an organisation other people are in, the account cannot be closed. The page says so and names the organisation. Make somebody else an owner first, or ask an owner to remove you.
If your organisation is just you, closing the account deletes the organisation and everything in it. Export anything worth keeping first (Export an MVR).
A guest can always close their account. It ends their access to the projects they were invited to and changes nothing else.
