FlexViz checks patching, addresses and mounting — address collisions, universes you did not declare, fixtures floating unattached, and units close enough to hit each other when they tilt. It says nothing about loads or whether a rig can physically be built as drawn. That is still your job.

The thresholds are yours to set, in Project settings:

Project settings
  • Universes in use — anything patched outside this list is reported as an error. Leave it empty and nothing is judged.

  • Floating fixture threshold — how high an unattached fixture must be before it is reported. A fixture on the floor is unattached too, and that is fine.

  • Fixture clearance margin — working room on top of the fixtures' own geometry. At zero, only fixtures that would actually touch are reported.

These are shared with everyone on the project and with every scene in it. Grid, working light and render quality are not here — those are per computer.
